Effective placement and management of insurance programs for financial institutions requires a level of expertise not found in most organizations.  Through Denis Burton, Lykes Insurance can provide comprehensive, cost effective insurance programs for the community banking industry.  Denis joined Lykes in September 1989 and serves as the Vice President of Financial Institutions/Financial Products Division. It is important to note that prior to joining Lykes Insurance, Denis spent fourteen years serving in management and key positions in financial institution and commercial insurance departments of major insurance companies including Chubb.  There he managed the Financial Institutions Division in the New York City office. Denis is active in banking related affiliations and held the position of Chairman on the Travelers Agents Advisory Counsel for Community Banks for the North American region from 2007-2010.
