Peter A Thompson, CPA, AFSB is Director of the Construction Services Division for Lykes Insurance in Tampa, Florida. His career began after graduating from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Accounting and Finance. For the past 30 years Pete has worked in construction surety bonding, and recently completed the requirements for the Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonds designation.
John Reed, CPA is a principal with Larson Allen LLP, a nationally chartered certified public accounting firm offering auditing, accounting and tax services in their Construction and Real Estate Group. He practices exclusively in the Southwest Florida construction industry and is a frequent speaker at the Florida Institute of CPAs Construction Industry Conference. John is a Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional (CCIFP), and consults with construction industry clients on tax methods and planning, technology and accounting systems, and general business planning and strategy.
