The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) is a federal agency that protects individuals from employment discrimination. The program for the July Excelleration™ event will highlight the business implications and perspectives of the EEOC.

The discussion will be directed by Paul Valenti, Manager of the Lee County Office of Equal Opportunity (LCOEO). Updates in case law along with policies and procedures that employers may utilize to strategically mitigate their exposure for wrongfull termination claims, disability claims and race claims will be the focus.
