DOT Compliance: Are You Subject to Fine?

Are you in compliance?  The U.S. Department of Transportation has specific rules and regulations for commercial motor vehicle CDL drivers operating a vehicle with a GCVW greater than 26,000 lbs. Non-compliance can result in fines ranging from $500 to $25,000.   

In this session Florida DOT Officer Tracey McQuilken will speak on how the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s rules apply to employers of those who operate a commercial motor vehicle in commerce and how to comply with DOT rules and regulations. 

Dr. Benjamin Gerson will go into detail on DOT drug testing requirements, including testing lab requirements, confirmation, MRO requirements, random management, alcohol testing, and file management of results. 

Finally, Roger Snyder  will offer advice on how to properly manage this risk and stay in compliance.
